BODY AND MIND RENEWAL EXERCISE

TARGET GROUP :

  • Stroke-stricken or Parkinson disease people


ACTIVITY / PROGRAMME :

  • Use simple tools and methods like finger sports, hand-hula, Golf/Picket Ball and Bingo-Hoop Throwing to create ample interaction opportunities between the patients and the trainer in a happy and fun environment


OBJECTIVE :

This renewal exercise aims to help the patients to improve physically, mentally and emotionally, and give them the ability and mobility to continue to be independent in their own homes. Likewise, it also aims to help the patients to have a renewed vision of life and a new meaning in living a dignified life.

 

A 7-Step Procedure:

  1. Health Screening (15 mins)

  2. Warm-Up Exercise - Music Therapy (30 mins)

  3. Warmth Therapy Exercise (30 mins)

  4. Finger Nerves & Stretching Exercises - Finger Sports (20 mins)

  5. Full Body Stretching - Hand Hula (25 mins)

  6. Group Competition - Bingo-hoop Throwing, Golf/Picket Ball Game (30 mins)

  7. Progress Evaluation (30 mins)
